Developing a lifelong love of learning

At Balfour Primary School we strive for excellence in everything that we do, and our core values underpin our curriculum ensuring our pupils develop into well-rounded citizens embracing diversity and celebrating cultures from all over the world.

We are a friendly, enthusiastic and caring community committed to offering an education which nurtures a lifelong love of learning enabling our children to achieve personal success, develop skills and knowledge and to excel together.

Balfour is a GOOD school, according to Ofsted

We are delighted to share with you that we have been graded a ‘Good’ school by Ofsted in our recent December 2023 inspection 🌟

We are incredibly proud of the report, as we feel it is a wonderful reflection of our school, highlighting our many strengths.

We would like to thank all of our staff for their continued hard work in providing such a vibrant learning culture and environment for the children and community to be part of.

We would also like to thank our community for their continued support over the years, and most notably during the December inspection. We felt and heard your encouragement, willing us to do well as a school.

Finally, we would like to thank our children for being the heart and soul of our school. We are privileged to have the role of educating you all, and we love the energy and enthusiasm we receive in return.

From the report:

‘Pupils are happy at this inclusive, vibrant school.’

‘Pupils are expected to word hard and they do.’

‘The children eagerly engage with learning … because it is fun and interesting.’
