18th November 2014
I would like to thank everyone in our school community for coming together in order to support Niamh’s family and friends and each other. The Firework Evening provided a wonderful and very special opportunity to reflect on and express our feelings for Niamh and to celebrate and mark her life.
We continue to gain enormous strength from our children and their families and our staff who are working together to ensure that children are well supported in school.
We have been working with Marianne, the school’s own counsellor and with Anita Barnard, Senior Schools & Community Services Manager from Dialogue Therapeutic & Family Services, who has recommended some resources and advice to support children and families through this challenging time.
We have arranged for Marianne to come into school on Thursday 20th November from 2.40 pm until 3.20 pm to provide a drop in session for any of you that may wish to access it.
