School Council

The School Council at Balfour enables children to have a say in the running of their own school. We meet regularly to discuss ways in which to improve the school. In our meetings, we discuss issues and ideas that need to be addressed at a whole school level. The elected pupils represent the views of their own class at the School Council meeting and then report back to their peers. We have a council formed by 1 member of each class.

Recent changes include:

  • Improving our whole school learning environment
  • Developing ideas for new class names (introduced September 2018)
