This year marked the 40th Children’s Parade at Brighton Festival. The theme was inspired by 2026 as the National Year of Reading. Schools were inspired by all sorts of children’s books, creating a joyous, loud and memorable procession through the streets of Brighton.

Y4 worked hard on their makes based on the book Cats vs Robots by Margaret Stohl and Lewis Peterson and were joined by our fabulous samba band in the parade.
