Our Approach to Learning

By Year 2, most children are ready for independent learning and we work far more as a whole class. There is, however, still time for 'Explore and Learn' within our curriculum alongside this. We ensure that our delivery of the curriculum offers hands on, child led, open ended and exploratory experiences. We want to investigate together and give children the opportunity to interrogate new knowledge and skills in exciting ways. The Continuous Provision model still threads through our environments, offering open ended and easily accessible resources both inside and outside.
