On the 6th March at 6pm we would like to invite all of our children to school to enjoy a bedtime story with the teachers in their year groups. The children can come to school in their pyjamas and will be given a little snack to enjoy whilst they are here. Through holding this event, we want to show our children that we value reading at home, as much as in school, and share our love of reading with them.

This year we would like to invite any EYFS parents who wish to stay to join their child in their classroom. For other parents who wish to stay for the 40 minute session, we will be opening up the school halls.

KS1 Hall will be open for Year 1 and Year 2 parents.

KS2 Sports Hall will be open for Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 parents.

During this time, we will have tables out for a child and adult book swap to take place, should you wish to bring a book along to take part.

We will also be showing a short video on building and developing your child’s fluency, which we hope will support with reading at home.
