We hope you can join us for a very special community event on Saturday 18^th May from 12-3 pm. We will be showcasing a piece of artwork from every child at our school in the KS1 and KS2 halls, in addition to inviting you to bring along a picnic which you can enjoy with family and friends on the field.

FAB have kindly offered to run a tea and cake tent outside Fossil class, and children will be able to play together using the OPAL equipment which they can collect from the shed.

We have very few resources available to children currently and so would ask that all families have a rummage through their sheds and attics and bring along any 'loose part' items they have at home that could left at the end of the day such as old shopping crates, wooden flooring planks, wooden palettes, old body boards, windbreakers, picnic blankets/old blankets, tarpaulin, sheets that can be used to build structures/camps for the children on the playground and field. The children love building camps and inventing creative games together, but this is very limited due to the lack of resources. If every family brought one item, we would have plenty for all children to play with!

We would also love some old clothes, hats and scarves that children can use to dress up in as part of their imaginative play.

If there are any parents who are able to help repair or make safe some of the resources that would be amazing as we may need to sand down any rough wood or remove nails, so this could be an activity you could share with your child.
